2010 BMW 7 series - All wheel drive

When we think of all-wheel-drive vehicles, we generally think of trucks, Jeeps, or sport-utility-vehicles. However, as cars and better fuel mileage become more and more necessary, we find SUVs on the way out in some places. So, for when the conditions are not so favorable for rear-wheel drive, or even for front wheel drive, we find that there definitely is the need for all wheel drive action on some cars. Well, lucky for us, the 2010 BMW 750 is an all wheel drive car that we can be excited about.

Those who have gotten to drive the BMW 7 series say that while it is big, it is indeed agile. How agile? Well, lets just say that, considering all the extra weight there needs to be underneath for the extra drive train, it does pretty well. It also has a conglomeration of safety gear hidden underneath the surface, including anti-roll bars that help to keep it upright on those close turns. This is accomplished by weight distribution, and is a healthy answer to a dangerous problem with all wheel drive cars.

All wheel drive cars really have a place in the world today. In places where there is a lot of rain or snow, not everyone should have to drive an SUV. Well, now you don’t have to. And while the hot-rod world might still belong to the rear-wheel-drive family, they will be laughing out of the other side of their mouth when you pass them, in the dead of winter, while they are parked in the ditch due to slushy, snowy weather.

Safety is really a concern that cannot be ignored, which is why all wheel drive cars might just have more of a future than their rear-wheel-drive older brothers.
